This Sunday, since the kids and The cHubbs were napping and i had nothing to do, i decided to bake cookies. That and the fact that my chocolate chips are going to expire next month so i really have to use them.
Anyway, this recipe is River's favorite. It's actually the one found at the back of a bag of Hershey's chocolate chips but I tweaked it a bit.
Here are the ingredients.

ignore the baking powder. haha |
Heat oven to 360 degrees.
Combine 2 sticks of butter with 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla. Cream together.

playing with Hunter while baking :) |
Add two eggs and mix.
Slowly add in 2 1/4 cup flour, half a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix thoroughly.
Add in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Mix.
Place in ref while you clean up.
For the big cookies, use an ice cream scoop and bake for 10 minutes. Jim and I prefer them halfbaked. :) You can bake up to 15 minutes if you want them crispy.
For the smaller cookies, i used a tablespoon and rolled with my hands. Bake for 8 minutes. These are for River and fully cooked but still chewy.
Cool completely.
Serve to your little cookie monster. :)
